ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE Fair 2023 has started!
Crowds in the alleys of the fair, inspiring debates, the noise of working machines and demonstrations of new technologies, but also the joy of the winners from the fair awards - this is how first days of ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE, full of emotions, can be summed up.
- It's good to observe fairs that are full of life, exhibitors and visitors. The pandemic and later Russia's aggression against Ukraine caused doubts about the fair's existence. Today's event, where we expect 18,000 visitors from 52 countries, an event where seven hundred exhibitors have prepared a unique offer of modern technologies, modern machines and solutions for the broadly understood industry, proves that face-to-face meetings make sense and are full of inspiration. We are glad that there are so many representatives of science because science, innovation and technology transfer are the three main mottos of the ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE fair. For the next few days, at the Industry Next Congress, which we are organizing for the third time, we will talk about the industrial transformation necessary for its development - said Tomasz Kobierski, President of Grupa MTP during the inauguration of the fair. There is no technological progress without cooperation between industry and the world of science.
Jędrzej Solarski, Deputy Mayor of the City of Poznań, was also present at the fair.
- I am glad that the key technical universities accepted the invitation to the fair, because without the synergy of science and industry there is no proper development - emphasized President Solarski.
On the first day of the fair, the Industry Next Congress began, an innovative project promoting the global development of Industry 4.0. The project was initiated in 2021 by the ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE fair team and Grupa MTP. The Congress became a place for presenting solutions of the digital era and the first platform for discussion on tools supporting the industry facing the current reality. This year the motto of Congress is: The world of industry in times of transformation.
